MBC's upcoming drama Come and Hug Me released a video clip of the cast's first script reading. Come and Hug Me centers around the romantic relationship between Chae Do Jin (Jang Ki Yong) and Han Jae Yi (Jin Ki Joo). Chae Do Jin is a policeman who is also the son of a psychopath serial killer, while Han Jae Yi is the daughter of one of the victims. The two were each other's first love as young children, and the drama unfolds as the two grow up and reunite. The video begins with the cast gathering for the script reading. Jang Ki Yong says, When I said I wanted to take on the role of this character, I was curious as to how I would change. Jin Ki Joo is also determined to fully deliver the character of Han Jae Yi and Gil Nak Won (Han Jae Yi's old name). I really want to portray Nak Won and Jae Yi well, she says. Heo Joon Ho, who plays the role of Chae Do Jin's father as well as a serial killer, comments that he was intrigued by the drama's plot. It has an unprecedented story and topic, he says. Jang Ki Yong then praises the younger members of the cast who play the young Chae Do Jin and Han Jae Yi. He compliments, The child actors were very good, so I'm really looking forward to it. When the script reading comes to an end, the cast members gather to take pictures. Come and Hug Me is set to premiere on May 16 at 10 p.m. KST and will also be available on Viki.
